The implementation of a good innovation process in the organisation is an essential predisposition for the efficient handling of innovations, respectively for a good innovation culture.
There are several innovation processes which are suitable for that. However, the Idea Pool has found a wide spread application in different organisations. The reasons fort this are:

• Idea Pool involves all levels inside, but also some important sources outside the organisation
• It is not necessarily project related (although it can be). This means, that the inflow of innovations is always ‘allowed’.
• Ideas, project progress and decisions can be easily visualized. This motivates employees to a further active participation.
